Code of Ethics and Standards

LMI’s reputation for integrity is one of our most prized assets, and we work hard to protect it. LMI has adopted and incorporated a Code of Ethics and Standards of Business Conduct that guide all of our business activities. Our policies on business integrity, statements and certifications, social policies, contract performance, mechanisms for reporting potential violations, and compliance and discipline standards explicitly govern all of our direct and indirect business dealings with the government clients, as well as with other organizations. We expect all of our employees to know and follow these standards.

Avoidance of Organizational Conflicts of Interest

LMI assesses potential organizational conflicts of interest for all proposed work that could bias our judgment in the performance of other work. We also employ procedures to ensure that our independent contractors and subcontractors are free from organizational conflicts of interest. If an organizational conflict of interest, or the perception of such a conflict, exists, we mitigate the conflict or avoid the contractual relationship altogether. When implementing our policies, we comply with the rules and procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 9.5, Organizational and Consultant Conflicts of Interest.

Small Business Partnerships

LMI takes great pride in our partnerships with small businesses, which, in turn, have special capabilities that help us achieve the best results. LMI also serves as a mentor to small business partners through formal mentor-protégé programs. These activities, established and monitored by various federal agencies, include offering training classes, business development team support, and proposal expertise. We’re proud of the successes of our protégés: for example, Integrity Management Consulting, Inc., recently ranked second overall in the Virginia Chamber of Commerce’s “Fantastic 50” list of the fastest growing companies in the state of Virginia.

Recognizing our continued dedication to and mentoring of small businesses, the Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum (SECAF) honored LMI as the 2010 “Small Business Partner of the Year.” more »

LMI nurtures our employees, both personally and professionally. We provide a broad range of technical, management, and individual skills workshops, seminars, conferences, and classes, both on- and off-site, to help our employees reach their full potential. We also offer generous tuition reimbursement, which ensures our employees grow personally and professionally.

We provide mentorship through avenues both formal and informal. This includes our intern and co-op program for current students through select universities, which gives college students the chance to explore future career opportunities while they pursue their education. Promoting Health and Safety

LMI is committed to encouraging healthy and safe lifestyles for all employees—both within and outside of the workplace.
