Bradley D. Silver Promoted to Program Manager   

Will lead the Wholesale Logistics Program in the Mathematical Modeling Directorate.

MCLEAN, Va., April 6, 2007—Adm. Donald L. Pilling, CEO of LMI, announced the promotion of Bradley D. Silver to Program Manager in the Supply Chain Management group. In his new position, he will lead the Mathematical Modeling directorate’s Wholesale Logistics Program. His key areas of responsibility will include analysis of spares requirements, readiness assessments, and development of policies and procedures for the Air Staff, Headquarters, Air Force Materiel Command, and the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center; enhancement of the Air Force’s Requirements Management System; ongoing maintenance and support of the Aircraft Sustainability Model; and analysis and testing of readiness-based sparing capabilities in the Air Force’s logistics system of the future.

Dr. Silver joined LMI in 2002 after a 20-year career as an Air Force supply officer, working in operational, staff, and research positions. His most recent assignment was at the Defense Logistics Agency, where he worked on Air Force readiness issues and formulated logistics improvements. He specialized in analyzing supply processes, devising process enhancements, and implementing solutions.

Dr. Silver earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the Air Force Academy, a master’s degree in logistics management from the Air Force Institute of Technology, and a doctorate in operations management from the University of Houston.
