HEALTH INSURANCE

We recognize the vast importance of health insurance coverage to most employees and their families. We offer our employees three choices for medical insurance coverage: A traditional PPO style plan, a Consumer Driven Health Plan (CDHP) and a staff model HMO.  A dental plan is also offered.  Coverage is effective as of the date of hire, and despite escalating health costs, LMI pays a significant portion of the premiums for full-time employees for single or family coverage. We also offer a Medical Buyout Program that pays an annual stipend to employees who opt to obtain medical coverage through a spouse’s employer or other eligible coverage. Qualified retirees can continue to participate in LMI's group medical and dental plans.
