SICK LEAVENobody likes to think about being ill. But when illness strikes, it’s nice to know that the company you work for stands behind you. LMI has a sick leave policy that covers short-term illnesses of salaried employees who become incapacitated medically and are unable to perform their work duties. Our sick leave policy offers employees peace of mind, knowing that they will continue to receive their full salary while on sick leave, most likely until they can return to work or become eligible for short-term disability (STD). SHORT-term DISABILITYSTD insurance is provided to salaried employees for extended illnesses or conditions. It provides a weekly income replacement from 100 to 75 percent, depending on the duration of the illness. Long-term DISABILITYLTD insurance is provided to salaried employees for debilitating illnesses or conditions. It provides income replacement of 60 percent to a maximum monthly benefit of $12,500. Life insurance & AD&DLMI provides salaried employees with group term life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance at one times base salary at no charge to the employee. Employees may purchase additional coverage for themselves and for their spouse. Coverage is effective from the date of hire. |
