Logistics Training

Capabilities

LMI offers training classes and seminars in logistics theory and practice. Originally prepared for our in-house professional development program, this training is now available to all who seek a deeper understanding of the organizations, methods, and issues of government logistics operations. Because we are an independent, not-for-profit organization, our training is unbiased and free of the influence of any specific solution provider. We have provided logistics training to the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Army, and other military customers. Our course offerings include the following:

• Defense Logistics Training Seminar (1 day)
• Performance-Based Logistics Issues and Strategies (2–4 days)
• Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) Model Concept and Application (2 days)
• Inventory Theory and Modeling (2 days).
