LMI recognizes that long-term interaction with outstanding individuals who have distinguished records of accomplishment—in both academia and public-sector service—will materially improve our overall independent research and development program. We thus established the position of Distinguished Visiting Scholar. This scholar has a documented record of significant achievement in an academic discipline that supports LMI’s mission and has made substantial contributions to the public sector, either as a career public servant or as a senior government appointee.

Applicants must provide a letter of introduction or nomination, curriculum vitae, two letters of reference, and a research project proposal.
