Donald L. Pilling Chair for Innovation in Public Management

In special recognition of Admiral Donald L. Pilling, USN (ret.), LMI’s President and CEO from 2002 to 2008, the LMI Board of Trustees established the Donald L. Pilling Chair for Innovation in Public Management.

This Chair, to be held by the Distinguished Visiting Scholar, furthers Admiral Pilling’s vision of the LMI Research Institute—advancing the science of government management through pioneering research, innovative thinking, analytic rigor, and thought leadership to profoundly influence policy and process.
