McLean, Virginia, February 21, 2006 – BusinessNow is a half-hour TV news magazine that covers innovative companies and the CEOs that lead them. LMI was featured on the February 19, 2006 program broadcast on News Channel 8.

The February 19 program looked specifically at companies that partner with the federal government. The LMI segment featured interviews with Donald L. Pilling, the CEO and several members of the staff who discussed their work for the Department of Defense, Health and Human Services, and NASA.

LMI is a not-for-profit government consulting firm established in 1961 at the behest of Secretary of Defense Robert S. McNamara. While best known for its work in logistics, LMI has expanded its work to include acquisition, facilities management, financial management, information technology, and organizations and human capital. Its clients include civil agencies, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Department of Defense.
