newsLisa Wax and Michael Mahler Promoted to Program Manager at LMI New assignments in Logistics Analysis and Human Capital Management.
McLean, Virginia, February 27, 2006—LMI Chief Executive Officer Donald L. Pilling announced the promotions of Lisa Wax and Michael Mahler to program manager.
Ms. Wax will be responsible for work in asset management, including personal property policy and systems, for the Logistics Analysis group. In her new assignment, she will support customers in the Department of Homeland Security, such as the U. S. Coast Guard and Customs and Border Protection Service, and Department of Justice.
Ms. Wax joined LMI in 1998 and has supported projects involving the analysis of government operations and information technology systems. She was active on the POS ONE task, which supported the U.S. Postal Service acquisition of a new point-of-sale system. She also led a task that recommended improvements in the management of seized assets at Otay Mesa, one of the country’s busiest ports of entry.
Mr. Mahler will manage multiple workforce planning tasks for the Human Capital Management group. He will support a variety of federal government clients, including the Federal Emergency Management Agency, National Nuclear Security Administration, and Navy. He also manages the LMI team that is supporting the implementation of a web-based performance management program for a new organization in the Department of Agriculture Office of the Chief Information Officer.
Before joining LMI in 2000, Mr. Mahler was executive vice president at Educational Field Studies, a private student group educational travel agency. As a former career Air Force officer, he developed management objectives, plans, and policies on military personnel issues for the Air Staff. |
