McLean, Virginia, February 27, 2006—Adm. Donald L. Pilling, LMI chief executive officer, announced the promotion of Jeff Colaianni to executive director of the Logistics Management operating unit. In his new position, Mr. Colaianni will help coordinate cross-company logistics projects and work with selected corporate strategic accounts. He will also lead major initiatives and strategic business development for the operating unit. He has been at LMI since 1991 and previously served as program manager for the U.S. Coast Guard, Customs and Border Protection, and Drug Enforcement Agency logistics efforts.
LMI is a not-for-profit government consulting firm established in 1961 at the behest of Secretary of Defense Robert S. McNamara. While best known for its logistics expertise, LMI’s work now includes acquisition, facilities management, financial management, information technology, and organizations and human capital. Numbered among its clients are Department of Defense organizations and civil agencies, such as the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Postal Service. |
