newsDavid Cutter Promoted to Program Manager Will lead LMI evaluation of Navy Depot Readiness Assessment Models
McLean, Virginia, May 3, 2006—Adm. Donald L. Pilling, CEO of LMI, announced the promotion of David M. Cutter to Program Manager in the Maintenance and Readiness Management group. He will oversee several projects for the Department of the Navy,ranging from models for budget development and readiness assessment to developing recommendations for reducing maintenance manpower requirements. Mr. Cutter is also involved in maintenance policy initiatives for the Department of Defense Materiel Readiness and Maintenance Policy office.
Mr. Cutter joined LMI in 1998 after serving in the U. S. Navy for 27 years. At LMI, he has been assessing a number of military-wide maintenance management concepts. In the Navy, his last assignment was as Head of Aviation Plans, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Policy and Resources Branch.
