NEWSStuart D. Funk Promoted to Program Manager Will focus on hydrogen and fuel cell technology and other energy R&D issues.
MCLEAN, Va., December 4, 2006—Adm. Donald L. Pilling, CEO of LMI, announced the promotion of Stuart D. Funk to Program Manager in the Energy and Environment group. In his new position, he is responsible for hydrogen and fuel cell technology andother energy R&D, vehicle fleet management support, and energy management services.His clients include a variety of defense and civil agencies involved in energy research and policy.
Mr. Funk joined LMI in 2003 after a career in the Navy. He served as commander of the Navy Petroleum Office where he led the organization that established fuel-related policies and guidelines for the Department of the Navy. His last position, at the Defense Energy Support Center, was deputy director for operation and administration of the global energy logistics organization for the Defense Logistics Agency.
