EventsJuly and October 2005 LMI Research Institute Lays Plans for Upcoming Executive Forums
The LMI Research Institute announces preliminary plans for two upcoming Executive Forums: July and October 2005.
The July forum will focus on government financial issues. Bob Hale, Program Director of our Acquisition and Grants Management group, and Ron Rhodes, Program Director of our Financial Management Systems and Policy group, are identifying the speakers and participants for this forum. The dates and speakers for this forum will be available shortly.
The October forum will address federal agency efforts to achieve environmental sustainability. Steve Stone, Program Director of our Energy and Environment group, is organizing this forum. More details on this forum will be available this summer.
The Executive Forums are designed to bring together senior officials from government?political appointees, career civilians, and flag officers?to discuss critical management issues facing the federal government. The objective is to facilitate frank and open exchanges in a non-attribution environment, with the hope that the discussions among the participants will lead to long-term structural, management, or policy enhancements. LMI sponsors these forums as part of our commitment to helping government leaders make better informed decisions on behalf of the public.
