Daniel P. Burnham and Patricia McGinnis Join Board of Trustees

Newcomers join distinguished public servantsand business leaders in guiding LMI

McLean, Virginia, April 27, 2004—LMI, a private, nonprofit corporation dedicated to improving public-sector management, announced that it has added Daniel P. Burnham and Patricia McGinnis to its Board of Trustees. Mr. Burnham recently retired as chairman and chief executive officer of the Raytheon Company. Ms  McGinnis is president and chief executive officer of the nonpartisan, nonprofit Council for Excellence in Government.

By joining the Board of Trustees, which governs LMI, Mr. Burnham and Ms. McGinnis will work alongside other trustees with high-level experience and recognized reputations in government, business, industry, and academia. They provide broad policy guidance, review and approve strategy, and exercise final authority over business affairs. Under the direction of the Chairman, Charles J. DiBona, the Board meets quarterly to review the progress and status of LMI.
