NEWSRobin L. Farley Promoted to Program Manager Will lead LMI’s financial management program for DoD
MCLEAN, Va., August 13, 2007—Adm. Donald L. Pilling, CEO of LMI, announced the promotion of Robin L. Farley to Program Manager in the Financial Management group. Mr. Farley will manage LMI’s DoD financial management program, which includesongoing work for the Army Business Initiatives Council andthe Director, Fiscal Division, HeadquartersMarine Corps. He will also be responsible forexpanding the program to otherDoD clients, including the Army Corps of Engineers and the Business Transformation Agency.
Mr. Farley came to LMI in 2005 from the Defense Intelligence Agency, where his most recent assignment was as director, financial business systems, Office of the Chief Financial Executive, responsible for coordinating Chief Financial Officers Act compliance efforts across the finance, acquisition, logistics, and human capital domains. Previously, he worked in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller) as a budget analyst for the Operation and Maintenance, Navy, appropriation.
Mr. Farley has a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California–Berkeley and a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. He is a PhD pre-candidate at the George Mason University School of Public Policy.
