LMI Publishes A Federal Leader's Guide to Climate Change

McLean, VA., February 27, 2009—LMI’s Energy and Environment group recently published A Federal Leader’s Guide to Climate Change; a book designed to assist leaders of federal agencies in addressing the challenges associated with climate change.

This easy-to-use reference book offers a well-founded, unbiased, and nonpartisan introduction to climate change. It gives federal leaders a succinct, understandable, yet rigorous reference that explains the specific issues associated with climate change within the federal realm. It focuses on findings related to climate change that are documented with a high level of scientific understanding. It also addresses the responsibilities of federal leaders, and the executive orders, regulations, and laws driving those responsibilities; proposes both national and organizational approaches for managing the effects of greenhouse gases, the primary cause of climate change; and suggests actions that federal leaders can and should take now to modify the operations and programs of their agencies to help arrest the causes of climate change.
