Bettina Garcia Welsh Named LMI’s Chief Financial Officer

Tysons, VA, June 6, 2018 — LMI announced that Bettina Garcia Welsh will serve as the company’s chief financial officer. Welsh, previously chief audit executive and sector financial officer at Leidos, brings more than 30 years of experience in financial operations oversight, internal auditing and strategic growth. She has extensive knowledge of executing and improving risk management practices in the government and commercial sectors.

Welsh will oversee all financial operations of the organization and support strategic growth, risk management and M&A activities. Her 13 years spent at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a principal consultant on domestic and international modernization projects equips her with the experience to operate across all facets of an enterprise.

Welsh was named a 2016 Top 10 Corporate Executive of the Year by LATINA Style. She holds a B.A. in economics from Swarthmore College and an M.A. in accountancy from George Washington University, and she is a certified public accountant.
