Dr. Joseph Norton
Sr. Vice President, Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Joseph Norton is an analytics and IT executive with over a decade of experience in end-to-end solution development, computational sciences, advanced analytics, data management, enterprise architecture, systems engineering, machine learning and applied artificial intelligence (AI), and business strategy.
As LMI’s Chief Technology Officer, he leads the Forge™, LMI’s technology studio that explores and tests new ideas and accelerates government organizations’ development time. He and his team supply repeatable, customizable solutions to government customers, ensuring that offerings are technically rigorous, incorporate emerging technologies, and meet customers’ needs effectively.
Under his guidance, the Forge™ has developed prototypes that are shaping the nation of next, including LogSmart™, an end-to-end suite of logistics solutions; Beacon™, a data management and analytics platform; and TalentIgnite™, an AI-enabled workforce engagement platform.
Joseph has a doctorate in chemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a bachelor’s in chemistry and computer science from the University of Miami.
