Kathleen McLernon

Kathleen McLernon, a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Lean Six Sigma black belt and instructor, provides expertise and support to LMI’s National Security Programs (NSP). She works closely with LMI’s Program Management Center of Excellence and NSP project leaders to ensure quality performance and win new business. Kathleen joined LMI following 27 years at Northrop Grumman, where she retired as Mission Assurance director in the Technology Services Sector. She previously served as Mission Assurance director in the Intelligence Systems Division. She held positions of increasing responsibility throughout her tenure, spanning program and functional management, systems engineering, integration and testing, process improvement, and commercial information security. Prior to Northrop Grumman, she was a systems engineer at Martin Marietta. Kathleen holds bachelor’s degrees in international relations and French from George Mason University and a master’s degree in systems management from the University of Southern California.
