Vice President, Defense Business Development
Scot leads LMI’s defense and space market business development team’s strategic planning activities, including identifying growth targets and solution and core offering development. He develops and presents strategic corporate investment recommendations and facilitates the management and growth of a multi-billion-dollar opportunity pipeline and associated financial forecasting and waterfall processes.
Scot joined LMI through the acquisition of Suntiva, where he led the defense and intelligence business unit championing technical solution development, technology adoption strategies, and process improvement programs in support of the company’s defense and intelligence customers. He led the growth strategy development and execution, resulting in $500 million growth opportunity pipeline.
Scot holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Maryland—College Park. He is also a certified project management professional and has certifications in change management and information technology infrastructure library foundations.
