LMI Staff

What are you responsible for as a principal in business development at LMI?

LMI delivers cutting edge capabilities to our customers. My responsibility within LMI is to help identify challenges and find solutions to Army requirements.

What made you decide to work at LMI?

Within the LMI family, I found a culture focused on finding solutions to our government’s hardest problems and an organization with the best leaders I’ve seen since leaving the Army. The culture was important, but behind that culture were people and leaders who focused on customer needs, inspired creativity, and truly care about America.

How long did you serve in the United States Army and what was your role/MOS?

I served in the Army for 30 years as an armor officer in a variety of tactical, operational, and strategic assignments in duty stations in the U.S. and overseas, to include operational assignments in Korea and Japan and combat assignments in Iraq and Afghanistan.

What synergies do you see between LMI and its capabilities and the way the Army operates?

LMI recruits, trains, and employs the very best in a variety of disciplines across the services we offer our customers. As a trusted partner to federal civilian and defense agencies, we are dedicated to improving the business of government, free of commercial and political bias and entirely aligned with the goals of our customers. The culture of “selfless service” embodied by our servicemen and women permeates the culture at LMI.

Based on your experience, what makes LMI different from other government consultancies?

LMI is hyper-focused on customer’s needs. We are always seeking ways to add value, innovate, and help our customers solve their most complex problems with tangible results.

Of your many accomplishments of serving as a leader in the United States Army, what makes you the most proud?

I am proud to have been a member of many incredible teams during my Army career and to be numbered among those who have answered the call to serve in our nation’s hour of need. I was privileged to lead Soldiers in a variety of roles both in peacetime and in war, and I remain humbled by their dedication and sacrifice. I also want to acknowledge our gold star families who lost loved ones in service to our nation; we all owe a debt to them that can never be fully repaid.
