LMI’s Steven Holland and Alex Barenblitt, NPMA-certified property management professionals, will host workshops at this year’s NPMA National Education Seminar at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Washington, DC.
Workshop: How Do You Sell the Concept of Property Management?
Join LMI's Steve Holland, CPPM CF, on Monday, August 19.
2:30pm - 3:30pm | Marriott Marquis | Marquis Salon 10
Every property manager is under pressure to achieve a successful audit. A particular challenge is selling the concept of property management to peers, supervisors, and senior leadership within a company, university, or federal agency. This session will explain the concept of property management from a lifecycle approach, including total asset visibility. The goal is to inform the property management community from the workforce to the boardroom.
Workshop: Using ASTM Standard E2452-12 EMPM Model to Assess a Property System
LMI's Alex Barenblitt, CPPM CF, will host a workshop on Wednesday, August 21.
10:45am - 11:45am | Marriott Marquis | Marquis Salon 15
A property management systems assessment tests conformance with policies and procedures against property outcomes and inventory accuracy. A more thorough assessment using ASTM Standard E2452-12 can identify areas of strength and weakness. This session will describe how such a comprehensive assessment is performed.
The NES is NPMA’s premier educational opportunity for professionals who manage personal property and assets for federal, state, and local governments; universities; hospitals; and private industries. This annual event also provides important networking opportunities for policy makers, industry experts, and peers.
