Tovey Bachman, PhD Fellow, Operations Research Systems Analysis
Tovey joined LMI 30 years ago to apply a fresh perspective to solving our government’s most difficult and long-standing problems. As an operations research systems analysis fellow, Tovey identifies and defines client problems accurately, rather than applying formulaic solutions. Ray has over 30 years of experience in solving critical acquisition gaps within the federal government. His leadership and strategic experience encompass working with all aspects of the acquisition lifecycle, from research and development to production of complex systems supporting our national defense. Ray is a retired U.S. Army colonel who joined LMI in 2019. Prior to being named a fellow, he supported internal and external LMI stakeholders in the strategic development of integrated solutions for capability gaps in national defense.
Management strategy fellow Ron is an expert in developing and delivering solutions to counter weapons of mass destruction. As a retired U.S. Army colonel, he uses his expertise to assess readiness challenges, uncover options, and integrate holistic offerings that improve operational capability and reduce risk. Brandon has advised government, nonprofit, and private-sector organizations on emergency management planning and operations for over 15 years, with a focus on improving the design of organizational and technical systems to support disaster management. He architects technical solutions to meet a variety of customer requirements, including an innovation strategy and road map for an $80 million federal logistics IT program.

As a biology fellow, Shanmuga uses his diverse experience to oversee LMI’s technical resources in the development, fielding, and sustaining of reagents, assays, and biothreat detection systems for the warfighter.
