Pat Tamburrino Jr. leads LMI’s Health and Civilian agency markets. His efforts in the health market focus on medical logistics, supply chain resiliency, federal insurance policies, and emergency response practices. In support of civilian agencies such as NASA, the General Services Administration, the U.S. Postal Service, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Office of Personnel Management, Pat’s practice focuses on organizational and human capital solutions, operations and financial management, IT governance, and strategic planning.
A career Department of Defense Senior Executive Service member with more than 40 years of public service, Pat has a wealth of experience in addressing the challenges facing managers across a broad spectrum of the federal government, most recently as chief of staff for the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness. Three U.S. presidents have recognized his superior leadership and results in the federal government, twice with the Presidential Rank Award of Meritorious Executive as well as the rank of Distinguished Executive. He is one of only two Department of the Navy executives so recognized on three occasions.
Pat is a Navy veteran, having served in the nuclear submarine community. He is also a volunteer official at Navy Federal Credit Union.
Pat earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the New York Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in business administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is a certified Acquisition Professional.
