
Pete leads the team responsible for business development and customer relationships, aligning LMI’s resources, investments, and strategic focus. His prior executive leadership roles at LMI include interim chief growth officer, vice president of logistics, and vice president of business development for the defense market. Pete joined LMI from American Systems, where he served as general manager/vice president and subsequently chief growth officer.
Pete has more than 30 years’ experience delivering advanced research and development solutions and ready-to-field systems. He deployed to support military logistics overseas for Operation Desert Storm (Saudi Arabia), Operation Restore Hope (Somalia), and Operation Enduring Freedom (Bosnia). Pete's work was awarded “Best Fielded Artificial Intelligence System in the Department of Defense (DoD)” by the National Defense Industrial Association and “Best Information Sharing Application in DoD” by the DoD Office of the Chief Information Officer.
Pete holds a bachelor's in computer science from the College of William & Mary and a master's in software engineering from George Mason University. He served for many years as co-chair of the U.S. Geospatial Intelligence Foundation Technical Committee and on an expert panel for the Visual Analytics Science and Technology Challenge, sponsored by the Computer Society of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
