LMI Closes 2020 With Strategic Contract Awards, Continues 60-Year Legacy Into 2021

February 10, 2021

Tysons, Va. – LMI today released its 2020 annual report highlighting the organization’s strong performance and results. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic and the unprecedented challenges many companies and employees faced, the organization had a stellar year, generating over $397 million in revenue.

During 2020, LMI welcomed a new leader, Doug Wagoner, as president and CEO. When he took on this leadership role, he communicated to employees that he remained committed to LMI’s 2025 growth strategy. “As we continue the journey toward achieving our 2025 strategy, as an organization, we have remained agile to ensure we effectively address our government’s most complex challenges, especially during these unprecedented times,” said Wagoner.

In addition to his dedication to LMI’s strategy, Wagoner introduced another commitment—to champion the company’s approach to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility. When engaging with employees, he stressed the importance of accepting everybody’s unique backgrounds and perspectives. LMI believes in promoting an inclusive environment where diverse thoughts and ideas are heard, valued, and supported; this prompted the senior leadership team to introduce six actions they will implement moving forward.

Further demonstrating LMI’s ability to remain agile in such uncertain times, the organization secured several large contracts throughout the year. Most notably, a $78 million contract with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) enables LMI to provide programmatic and technical advisory support to the DHS Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Office. Among other considerable contracts received, the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) awarded LMI an enterprise logistics consolidation contract valued at over $50 million. This award continues LMI’s six decades as a trusted partner with OSD, the military services, and defense agencies.
