LMI released its 2017 annual report, detailing the organization’s FY17 achievements and highlighting notable brand attributes through its exemplary employees.
The 2017 report differs from past releases by focusing on the organization’s unique culture and the employees who contribute to it daily. Brand attributes of the company are embodied in the stories of five featured LMI employees who tell their personal story of past experiences, professional challenges, and what eventually brought them to the company.
“Each of us approaches challenges in our own way; our ability to embrace diversity in all of its forms enables us to exceed client expectations,” said Dave Zolet, president and CEO of LMI. “It is a privilege to lead this company, and together, we lead with character.”
LMI had many notable wins in FY17, including a large contract award with the U.S. Marine Corps Installations Command (MCICOM) and a cooperative agreement for DoD’s Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation (SMART) Scholarship for Service Program. The company also made a multitude of organizational and leadership changes expected to pave the way for how the company does business in the future.
The annual report also highlights LMI’s organizational metrics, such as revenue, client satisfaction rates, and veteran hires. The company remains committed to giving back to its employees by offering nearly $1 million in training, development, and tuition assistance for its staff.
“While it’s necessary to focus on the strategic growth plan of the company and its future client base, we also have to ensure that we focus on the people who are here making a difference every single day,” said Angie Casper, Chief Human Resources Officer and Senior Vice President at LMI. “We take pride in investing in employees.”
