December 13, 2016

The U.S. Army awarded LMI a $58.5 million time and materials contract to assist the U.S. Army’s Program Manager, Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (PM AESIP) and supported activities with program management support and services through the full system lifecycle, including design, development, deployment, fielding, and sustainment of Army programs within the logistics and financial compliance domains. The three-year contract was announced by the Department of Defense on November 22.

The LMI team will support logistics modernization, general funds enterprise business system, enterprise systems integration, component programs, and stakeholder organizations under the PM AESIP contract. The work will be performed in multiple locations through November 12, 2019.

With a potential value of up to $184.7 million over three years, this contract serves as the largest award LMI has received to date.

Since 2001, LMI has supported U.S. Army business transformation and provided program management support to facilitate logistical and financial ERP/SAP support services.

“LMI is excited to continue program management support to PM AESIP, assisting the business modernization of U.S. Army logistics, financial business processes, and ERP development,” said Karen LeDoux, program vice president of LMI’s Logistics Systems group. “Our extensive experience in ERP program management support, systems development lifecycle support, business modernization, and management are a substantial benefit to providing the continuity necessary to effectively manage complex technical services on this contract.”

Out of the four bidders who submitted to the Army Contracting Command via online solicitation, LMI was awarded as the main contractor to complete the work. The service branch obligated $38 million at the time of award from the military branch’s fiscal 2016 and 2017 operations and maintenance budget; and fiscal 2016 research, development, test and evaluation funds.

“World-class support to military and civil organizations is not just what we do, but who we are,” said Nelson Ford, CEO of LMI. “Our entire organization is built upon providing best value and practical government management, and the highly technical, enterprise-wide nature of this work will afford our subject matter experts the opportunity to exceed standard expectations and provide the best management solutions possible.”
