LMI Awarded OASIS Pools 1 and 3 after Acquisition

May 31, 2017

The General Services Administration has awarded LMI prime unrestricted contracts for OASIS Pool 1, engineering and consulting services, and Pool 3, engineering for aerospace and military systems. LMI was already a prime unrestricted contractor in Pool 6, research and development in aircraft. LMI recently acquired the Pools 1 and 3 contracts from an initial awardee and provided GSA evidence of the necessary requirements to novate the contracts after demonstrating its qualifications and capabilities.

OASIS, short for One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services, is a government-wide, multiple award, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract that provides flexible and innovative solutions for complex professional services spanning a wide range of expertise, missions, and disciplines.
LMI will compete as a prime contractor for tasks related to the core disciplines of OASIS: program management, management consulting, logistics services, engineering services, scientific services, and financial management.
“This OASIS award will directly benefit our clients and the agencies that want access to our program management, technology, logistics, and resource allocation solutions,” said Nelson Ford, president and CEO of LMI.
Less than four dozen federal contractors are in OASIS unrestricted Pool 1, with some two dozen in unrestricted Pool 3 and around three dozen in unrestricted Pool 6.
Todd Nelson, OASIS program manager for LMI, said, “We’re ready for the new conversations and opportunities this award promises, not to mention the streamlined way agencies can contract with us as a result.”
The addition of OASIS Pools 1 and 3 supplements LMI’s list of existing contract vehicles.
