Tysons, Va. – LMI today promoted Scott Recinos to vice president of its homeland security market. Recinos had served as LMI’s director of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) efforts since 2017 and has over 20 years of experience working with federal clients.
“I am honored and humbled to have been selected for my new role as vice president and I am grateful for my LMI colleagues, clients, and industry partners that have contributed to my success,” said Recinos. “I am optimistic for the future of LMI and our homeland security market as we power a future-ready, high-performing government.”
As vice president, Recinos executes LMI’s service offerings, including digital and analytic solutions, logistics, and management advisory services across the intelligence and homeland security markets. In this new role, Recinos will be tasked with uncovering customers’ current and emerging needs, staying abreast of new developments in the national security space, developing effective ways to support the National Security Strategy, and fostering customer and partner relationships.
“Scott truly understands the needs of our CBP and DHS clients and knows how to support their missions proactively,” said Pete Pflugrath, senior vice president of markets and growth. “He leads with client focus, resulting in exceptional client relationships and remarkable contributions to our growth during his time at LMI. I am pleased to get the opportunity to watch him succeed in his new role as vice president.”
Recinos holds a bachelor’s and master’s in civil engineering from Virginia Tech.
