LMI Selected to Expand Support to U.S. Army Through STEPSS Contract

Tysons, Va. – LMI announced today it has been selected to support the U.S. Army’s Combat Capabilities Development Command Chemical Biological Center (DEVCOM CBC). This 10-year, potential $869 million Scientific, Technical, Engineering and Program Support Services (STEPSS) multiple-award task order contract will allow LMI to continue helping prepare the U.S. Army to detect and respond to chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) threats. In addition to assessing, developing, and providing technical expertise under STEPSS, LMI will also provide acquisition and engineering support.

DEVCOM CBC activities span the lifecycle from chemical and biological defense research to product development and technical support services for CBC across a spectrum of requirements, including research, development, test, and evaluation; engineering; acquisition support; product development; and chemical and biological demilitarization operations.

LMI’s support for the STEPSS program will build on nearly six decades of multidisciplinary past performance, from cost savings and security for supply chains to artificial intelligence and machine learning, Operation Warp Speed support, digital twin, and extensive CBRN expertise.
