LMI to Support Policy Management and Reporting for DoD Security Cooperation

Defense, Lifecycle Management & Modernization, Data & Analytics, Management, Continuous Process Improvement, Digital SolutionsTysons, Va. – LMI has been selected to assist the Department of Defense (DoD) in streamlining policy development and reporting for its security cooperation activities in support of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) under a five-year contract with a total potential value of approximately $5 million.
As part of this effort, LMI will partner with Culmen International, LLC, a firm with broad functional and regional expertise in DoD security cooperation and other international programs. The LMI-Culmen team will support DSCA on two principal tasks:
- Maintaining DCSA’s main policy document, the DSCA Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM) through policy change tracking, application of policy updates, web development and conversion of SAMM content, and maintenance of the policy document archive
- Preparing the annual Foreign Military Training Report and the Interagency Working Group report on U.S. government-sponsored international exchanges and training.
The latter work will develop and manage the reporting data system, data set acquisition and integration, data verification and sanitation, report package development, and staffing and coordination.
“Our support of policy and data management at DSCA complements our ongoing program management support for building partnership capacity programs to supply critical assistance to DoD’s security cooperation missions,” said Robert Lech, vice president of LMI’s defense market.
In addition to the recently awarded contract, there are follow-on provisions for additional policy and data management–related surge support as needed by DoD.
