Rinku Deol came to LMI from an assignment as a principal investigator for a Phase II clinical trial—funded by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute—to test the efficacy of a home blood pressure telemonitoring device. Since then, she has pioneered innovations at the federal level, in healthcare policy and review operations for the Medicare Advantage (MA) program. Specifically, Rinku significantly expanded LMI’s MA program, adding four new client divisions within the last six years; the most recent expansion was into the Medicare Medicaid Coordination Office. She has a bachelor’s in biological sciences from the University of Maryland and a master’s in public health from George Washington University. She is also a certified Project Management Professional and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. In addition, Rinku is a champion of many charities and has generated tens of thousands of dollars for the American Heart Association and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
