Kristen Cheman

As senior vice president of digital & analytic solutions, Kristen combines subject matter expertise and leading-edge technologies to bring the best ideas and digitally-enabled services to our customers. She leads an innovative practice of more than 650 data engineers, data analysts, data scientists, software developers and testers, cloud and infrastructure engineers, platform and enterprise resource planning and cybersecurity subject matter experts.

Kristen came to LMI from Capital One, where she developed machine learning strategies for the bank. She also brings commercial software experience from MathWorks, where she developed marketing strategies, established sponsored research programs with academia, and led predictive modeling competitions. In a prior assignment at Lockheed Martin, Kristen was a member of the rotational assignment Engineering Leadership Development Program for growing technical leaders.

Kristen has earned three math and engineering degrees: a bachelor’s in mathematics from Allegheny College, a master’s in applied mathematics from North Carolina State University, and a master’s in systems engineering from the University of Virginia. She also has a certificate in leadership coaching.
