“LMI is grateful to once again receive the U.S. Postal Service Supplier Excellence Award. Our more than 20 year partnership is built around trust and a deep-rooted understanding of USPS’s mission and goals. We look forward to continuing to assist the postal service and their stakeholders for years to come while upholding the quality they have grown to trust and expect from us,” said Pete Pflugrath, executive vice president of LMI’s markets & growth organization.
LMI partners with USPS to meet multiple initiatives and benchmarks using complex enterprise systems implementation, logistics, financial, and program management support. LMI applied its expertise and flexibility to enable USPS to launch and manage its Integrated Logistics Ecosystem six months earlier than planned and deploy seven new Surface Transportation Centers in the Surface Transportation Network initiative. In addition, LMI helped implement, model, and design an automated fraud and detection system using machine learning. This system identifies and deflects fraudulent claims, resulting in thousands of dollars of savings for USPS.
