How long have you been with LMI?
I am new to LMI, having joined on January 3.
What are you responsible for as the vice president and chief technology officer (CTO) of the defense market at LMI?
My position as the CTO is part senior technical advisor and part strategic visionary. Leveraging my previous experiences with driving digital transformation in the public and private sectors, I answer questions like where we should be investing. I also ensure that we leverage the technical capabilities and solutions from our other markets, like intelligence and space, for our defense customers.
Why do you like working at LMI?
LMI is a great place to work because of our focus on Innovation at the Pace of Need™. Working collaboratively with a customer to produce a high-fidelity mock-up within weeks is powerful. Often, while the problem is well understood, the best way to solve it isn’t. Through rapid prototyping and agile development, we ensure the right requirements before we create solutions. This approach minimizes time to value while lowering technical risk.
What’s the part of your job that makes you excited to come to work every day?
We have the best customers in the world. I am incredibly passionate about the mission and the impact we have for our defense customers and the nation.
LMI is a great place to work because of our focus on Innovation at the Pace of Need™. Working collaboratively with a customer to produce a high-fidelity mock-up within weeks is powerful.
