LMI Extends Support to OSD in Electronic Warfare, Air Platforms and Weapons, and International Cooperation
Robin MiltonApril 12, 2021
Defense, Acquisition & Sustainment, LogisticsTysons, Va. – LMI will continue to support the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) in the critical areas of electronic warfare, air platforms and weapons, and international cooperation through a five-year contract valued at over $16 million. This builds upon a partnership that began more than five years ago and enables LMI to help the Department of Defense address critical acquisition challenges. Speeding the acquisition of crucial technologies, helping to improve acquisitions such as the F-35 Lightning II fighter aircraft, and strengthening acquisition partnerships with our allies are critical warfighter support requirements addressed under this contract.
“International partnerships are key to realizing the National Defense Strategy. LMI is thrilled to continue shaping policy and engagement in this critical area,” stated Robert Lech, vice president of LMI’s defense market.
